Bow Hunting Magazine - The Bible For Every Bow Hunter!

Bow Hunting Magazine has long been considered the best resource in print for bow hunters everywhere; they offer a variety of tips, advice, product reviews, and special offers specific to bow hunters. While it may not replace being in the field, it's the second best thing for a bow hunter in the off season.

Bow Hunting is divided into a few basic sections:

• Bow Hunting Tactics

• Hunting Grounds

• Bow Hunting Gear

• Field Tested

• Bow Hunting Radio

• Trophy Photos

• Breaking News

Within the sections of bow hunting magazine, hunters can find real stories from other hunters around the country. There is information about the best places to hunt, reviews on all the latest equipment available, and different bow hunting techniques. A popular section is Breaking News because it keeps the hunter up to date on all the new information on laws and trends, among other things. There is also a section for the big ones that did not get away; photos of record setting kills and the hunter's who bagged them.

Bow Hunting Magazine has become an irreplaceable resource for hunters everywhere, especially in today's world of outspoken animal rights activists. Bow Hunting Magazine gives the hunter a place to gather and swap stories with other people who enjoy the things he enjoys. The magazine offers many personal stories from readers who write in sharing a particularly impressive hunt. One article tells an exciting story of a hunting trip when the author used a buck grunt to lure in an animal. The hunter explains the techniques he used in his hunt, and what helped him bag a trophy buck.

Bow Hunting Magazine also allows the hunter to stay up on the newest hunting equipment available. Many advertisers showcase their latest and greatest products, and whether the hunter chooses to try it out or not, flipping through the pages provide a great way for the hunter to stay up to date on new equipment. Often the magazine will run features testing these new products giving recommendations so a hunter can make the most of his hunting budget. Bow Hunting Magazine allows readers to exchange stories from the comfort of their own home. The magazine provides safety tips, instruction, shopping tips, an often debunks hunting myths; the magazine acts as the bow hunter's close friend who shares with them all the little secrets of an experienced hunter.

Experienced Archers and bow hunters I have a question for you?
I've always followed the 5grains arrow weight for every pound of draw weight rule. But I got to thinking last night that IBO speeds are figured at 29in draw length. Since my draw length is 27.5 in., obviously the arrow is not receiving as much energy from the bow string as someone who is shooting the same draw weight but with a 29in. draw length. That being said, do you think it is safe to use an arrow that is less than 5grains per pound of draw weight at 27.5 inches? and if so, how much lighter?

Will supporters be outraged over the arrest of 4 hardworking illegals growing crops for better life?
On Monday, the Garfield County Sheriff?s Office arrested four illegal aliens at a marijuana growing operation, after being spotted by a hunter. Their marijuana crop had a street value of $413,000. Those arrested were Monica Saldicar, 31, Eleno Angulo, 45, Jesus Ruiz Sepulveda, 51, and Emiliano Arellano, 29, all are Mexican nationals. Sheriff?s deputies also allegedly found a semi-automatic pistol and methamphetamines. Garfield County Sheriff Danny Perkins told ABC4.com: ?I would like to express my appreciation to the bow hunter that called in the tip that led to the arrests today. He handled it perfectly: he spotted someone that seemed out of place, he didn't confront the individual but quickly left the scene and then immediately after called the Sheriff's office. This is how we would like everyone to handle these kind of sightings. We are still concerned because these grows present a serious public safety issue; these growers have weapons and present a threat to anyone they come in contact with. With hunting season underway we ask everyone who is enjoying the out-of-doors to use caution, and if you spot something or someone that seems out of place, please call the Sheriff's office immediately.? In addition to using U.S. public lands to smuggle drugs into this nation, the Mexican drug cartels are growing huge amounts of marijuana in our national parks. It is estimated that the cartels produce 30 tons of pot in our parks annually. http://www.examiner.com/immigration-reform-in-national/four-illegal-aliens-caught-growing-pot-utah-wilderness

A bow-hunter is stalking a buffalo from the top of a cliff (point A). The animal is standing at rest at the base of the cliff, at point X, on the level ground. The buffalo sees the hunter and begins to run directly away from the cliff, reaching its (constant) maximum speed before passing point B. Exactly Dtrun s after the buffalo passes point B, the hunter shoots an arrow and hits the animal. The arrow?s initial path is directed at an angle q below the horizontal. The arrow?s complete flight, from release to hitting the animal, takes Dtarrow s. The horizontal distance between points A and B is xAB m. The vertical distance between points A and B is yAB m. Ignore the heights of the buffalo and the hunter. Find the buffalo?s maximum speed (the speed it was running when it was hit). Keep in mind that you may consider these values as known: Dtrun, q, Dtarrow, xAB, yAB, g.
