Utah has almost always been a great place to hunt mule deer and has produced some of the biggest trophies ever taken in world. All you have to do is walk through Cabela's in Lehi, Utah and admire all the many mule deer trophies that Utah produced over the last hundred years and you'll begin to understand why.

Now how about the best places to go hunting mule deer in Utah? Obviously the best areas are the limited entry draw areas that require you to put in for the yearly draw, which you can accumulate points each year that you don`t draw upping your chances next year. Of course there are some great areas to hunt on public land as well and next time we`ll get into those.

1. Henry Mountains: Over the last 3 or 4 years the Henry Mountains have become the best place in the world to hunt trophy world class mule deer. All you have to do is simply type in "henry mountains mule deer" into Google and do a search to see that what I'm talking about is 100% true. The Book Cliffs: If you`re looking for a great buck that will score between 150" and 180" with a good possibility if you put in the effort to find one that will score over 200", than the Book Cliffs is the place to be. Anyone who has ever gone down to the Book Cliffs almost always ends up seeing between 100 to 200 bucks a day and that`s if you`re not even trying.

3. Paunsaugunt: Last but not least the legendary Paunsaungunt. This area has been the stuff mule deer dreams are made out of for many of the last decades and has and still produces record book bucks. However over the last decade there has been some what of a decline in the number of bucks, for what reason is any one`s guess and is always a heated debate amongst hunters. I washed my carbon scent blocker bowhunting clothes with scent free laundry detergent and.....?
put it into a plasic container, and I was woundering if I could put a evergreen branch into container or something else.I am going to active clothes in dryer 3 days pryer to using them. Or dont I have to put anything into the container with clothes. This is my first year with carbon clothes and I would like some storage help or anything else. I reason I want to put a evergreen branch into container is to make the outside of clothes smell like evergreen tree. Good idea or not? I want to use the clothes for bowhunting deer.

i live in south charlotte in raintree country club and we have a lot of deer in the neighborhood and they eat out of my garden and i want to shoot them. i bowhunt for small game all the time but i want to try deer hunting but i dont have anywhere to go but my own backyard. someone told me that you have to have some kind of city hunting license but i dont know what he is talking about because i cant find anything about it online. does anyone know how i can hunt deer in my back yard with a bow. is there anykind of license i could get?

This will be my first year bowhunting deer, how can I stop my very bulky clothes from getting in the way?
I need alot of warm clothes due to -30 days here in Canada, how can I still shoot my bow properly and not let the jacket and stuff get in the way?
