For a hunt to be a success the bow man has to get very close to the animal for a clean shot, there is then the possibility that the animal will hear a bow if there is any noise produced when pulling back the string or releasing the arrow.
It is as waste of time buying a cheap hunting bow. It will not be any use in the wild. The main factor is the quality; you should not approach buying a bow with a specific budget in mind.

Compound Bow hunting and shaking during full draw?
I have a compound bow I recently purchased, and at "full draw" I have a problem with shaking. Any recommendations on what might decrease the shaking I am experiencing? I have a stabilizer currently on the bow, it is 4.5 oz. Should I increase? Should I decrease? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

compound bow hunting- starter?
hi hunters, i want to buy a compound bow to start hunting with it! I want to use it for grouse, bear, coyote, and other animals in that size range ( no moose and buffalo) but it needs to be strong. What kind of arrow and broadheads would you say would be best for bear, moose, coyote and such stuff? where can i buy all this stuff and for how much? i can give out to 1000 bucks! and how can you wear the bow on your back or on the backpack where can i buy such backpacks? thanx alot
and what about if you just start hunting with bows and you miss the grouse or whatever, do you find those arrows easyly?

compound bow hunting for beginner?
i am a beginner when it comes to hunting.my friend is a compound bow hunter.i liked it but i am not sure if that is what most people do.
i want to hunt for adventure and not to kill.i want to make it as a hobby and want to try something which is hard and requires skills.i feel that compound bow hunting requires practise and skills unlike crossbow hunting..
please anyone tell me about this.are there any other options..
i would like to hunt deers though.
if i wanted to kill,then i would have got a gun.that way u can kill a lot.with compound bow,u need to be a great expert and have good skills to kill..so i may end up killing very few dears,but here i have to develop great skills...hunting is just fascinating in that your mind should work laterally and involves multiple tasking...it may also be dangerous but thats adventure..indoor activities are boring after some time simply because they involve the same thing..
can u people advise me more..thanks for quick answers.

I am looking for a nice compound bow, what should I get?
I have recently decided to switch from crossbow hunting to compound bow hunting and I am looking to purchase a nice bow. My draw length is 27" and I would like to have a draw weight of 70 pound. I used my uncle's mathews switchback for a while and I liked it a lot. But I don't want to bother with borrowing a bow. I have been looking into other mathew bows such as the DXT, Drenalin, and the S2. I will primarily use the bow for white-tail hunting and the occasional elk hunt out west. If you could please help me with what bow I should get it would be greatly appreciated. I am open to all suggestions.
